A founder-led approach to clarity

Structured, practical facilitation for clarity and next steps.

Oliver Farrell is the founder of WildFuture. He co-founded Vilicom Engineering and spent over two decades building and leading the organisation as Director, CEO and later Chairman, before exiting the business in 2021. Oliver was also a founding promoter and director of Ludgate in Skibbereen, helping to foster a rural innovation ecosystem in West Cork.

Today, Oliver is building WildFuture, a place-based venture designed to help founders and leadership teams pause, see the real challenge clearly, and leave with practical decisions and next steps. The work combines structured workshop facilitation with Thinking Trails: guided walking sessions that use nature as an environment for clear attention and better thinking.

Why WildFuture

In busy organisations, the hardest part is rarely generating ideas, it’s agreeing what matters, making decisions, and following through. WildFuture exists to create the conditions for that: time, attention, structured thinking, and a landscape that naturally changes perspective.

WildFuture’s rewilded slopes offer something rare: space to think, away from screens and noise, without losing rigour.

The aim is straightforward - help good teams do their best thinking and move forward with confidence.

What I do at WildFuture

  • Strategy Offsites at Mount Kid. Half-day and full-day sessions for leadership teams, founders, boards and core teams (typically 2–10 people).
  • Thinking Trails. Facilitated walking sessions (1:1 or small groups) for clarity and next steps
  • Optional prep + follow-up.  Short sessions before/after to embed actions and maintain momentum

How I work

My style is calm, structured and practical, and deliberately designed to unlock better thinking. I listen closely, challenge gently, and use simple frameworks to help teams surface what really matters, explore options, and decide.

The WildFuture landscape adds something important: it lifts attention, changes perspective, and often sparks fresh ideas.
The output is always something you can act on - clear priorities, decisions, and next steps.
